It seems like every time I drive now something in or around the dashboard squeeks. On a flat smooth road it usually doesn't happen. Any kind of bumps in the road and its squeeky squeeky squeek. I tried to lean forward to listen to it and pinpoint where it was coming from but every time I did it stopped. So I thought it must be the seat, but I bounced around in the seat and couldn't get the squeek to come back. If you turn the radio up, it almost sounds like background static. I searched on squeek and found some others having the same issue but those threads seem to have died with no solution posted.

Any ideas? It's not real annoying but I'd like to stop it if possible.

 

I get a similar squeak or clunking noise but I'm almost certain its coming from under my driver seat. I only notice it with the top off though (probably because I can't hear it with it off). Like you said it only happens when I hit a bump.
