What I Heard At Wal-Mart
Yesterday was really nice and the wind here finally died down, so pulled the doors again and headed out for some errands. As I parked the Jeep at Wal-Mart I noted a lady across the aisle getting her two daughters out of her car. I walked past them, and behind my back I heard this conversation:
"Look, Mommy, that car doesn't have any doors!"
"That's not a car, dear, it's a Jeep." (smart lady!)
"Well, it looks funny."
"Someday I want your daddy to buy me a Jeep just like that--so we can take off the doors and go driving around."
Picture me entering Wal-Mart with a big grin on my face.

That's great.
Along those lines I had the doors off here in Chicago Area the other day. Driving home after picking up my son, there was a woman in a Lexus ride next to me so her and her daughters could give us a thumbs up.

I had a cop in an unmarked car pull along my passengerside when I had my doors off this week and talk to me for about 2 miles about my Jeep. We'd slowed down to like 20 in a 45 and had traffic backed up behind us.

Great story!
My wife doesn't like to drive in my JK with the doors off. She freaks out a bit, feeling very exposed.
So, I'm thinking that I will have to invest in a set of safari doors before I end up with a urine stain on the passenger seat.

If it would have happened anywhere other than Wal-Mart, it would be great.
Getting admired for having teeth wouldn't be unexpected at Wal-Mart.
