What Jeep means to me:
Forget 4 vs. 2 door, waves, "real Jeeper" arguments, etc. Here's what it's all about for me: I spend a few days per week caring for someone with a severe brain injury. He can barely walk and barely breathe and his life is more or less miserable. I went to his house to pick him up, and the top and doors were off and he got a huge smile on his face. He struggles to breathe and speak, but said, "Cool." I hoisted him in, which was rather difficult because he weighs a lot and has poor balance. I know he loves country, so I turned up the country real loud and then we took off. He had a HUGE grin on his face as we drove around. Then he started singing out loud to the music. Then, I joined him. He and I were driving around at night, blasting country, singing, looking up at the stars, etc. He was so overcove with joy that his body was frozen and his smile was frozen as he grabbed the grag bar, huffing and wheezing in excitement. All we did was drive around, and he had the time of his life. Being able to give someone so much happiness just by going for a ride is what Jeep means to me and it's why I bought it.
You sir.......are a saint...!!! And I know I can say for the rest of us...THANK YOU FOR DOING THAT...!!!! And just so you know, and I ain't ashamed to say it, it was all I could do to read, and type this because of my watery blurred vision.
