Default What are people doing with their old tires?

I see a number of people have listed their stock tires for sale here. I've listed mine on Craigslist and eBay Motors, so far no bites on either. I'm about ready to haul them to the dump. Shame, it's 5 brand new tires worth a lot of $. Has anyone found an effective way to offload their stock tires, hopefully for some $?

I guess if you want to sell them, you have to be willing to take what the buyers are paying. What wheels/tires are you trying to sell and how much are you asking for them?

The stock Rubicon Mud Terrains, retail is over a grand, I tried $500 on Craigslist then $100 on eBay, no interest.

List them here in the for sale section. That's where I bought mine.

If you are selling the tires by themselves, the problem is you can buy brand new ones right now for $119 each. That really doesn't help out. It would be easier to sell the wheel/tire combo.

They are only worth what the public is willing to pay.

Default tires

Used tires go down in price FAST.

I would never buy used tires for something I drive every day; I wouldn't feel safe...

on the trail maybe...
