I noticed a small "bubble" when I was taking the door screws off. I touched it with my finger and it came off. This is the lower hinge on the front passenger door.

This is the hood hinge on the passenger side.

3 things to do.

1.Take it to the dealer and have them warranty it h ttp://www.jeep.com/crossbrand/warranty/pdf/2012_Jeep_warranty.pdf
fix the space in http and look at page 8

2. Plasti-dip them black and get a black contrast like some others do.

3. or just apply some touch-up and be done with it. Take it back if it gets worse. That is a common wear area that chips if you start looking at other jeeps in parking lots.

Had the same bubbling paint on my 07, just bedlined the hinges and it's all good.

One of many to come, buy some touch up paint or bedline your hinges.

Thanks everyone. Can I plasti-dip them while they are on the vehicle?

Yes! The plasti dip comes off paint easily. So no worries about overspray
