Default what tire size for my 2014 rubicon?

I just traded my 2011 sport for a 2014 rubicon. First off the power difference is great along with the 5 speed auto transmission. I had 35s on my sport and never regeared which obviously made the on road travel sluggish. I really want to run 37s on my rubi but i wont regear right away. Is the 3.6 and 4.10s enough to pull 37s on the highway or should i stick with 35s?( Im sure there are alot of threads on this issue but i couldnt find any that answered my question)

4.56 ratio would, of course, be better, about 11% 'better'.
Imagine that you don't have 285hp, but only 254hp... With 37"s, that's still about 25% more than you had with the 2011 3.8L.
That was just a rough illustration.
If having 11% less power would bother you or not, it's for you to decide.

Personally, I'd save the money for the time I re-gear, keep the 35"s for now, and enjoy the Pentastar in full... but that's me

X-2 Run the 35's now and wait for 37's when you regear.

I have a friend that runs 37 inch KM2s on his 2012 auto with 4.10's. He has no plans to regear. YMMV

If you have 4.10's I'd go right to 37's, don't waste money on the 35's if that's what you want. 4.10 will have plenty of power with the new engine and trans. With the old engine is a whole different scenario.

Thanks for the input fellas! I think ill go ahead and get the 37s for now and regear asap. Does anyone know if the wear and tear is significantly worse for 37s vs 35s? It looks like they are around 100 lbs more per tire.

Do you mean the 37's are around 100+lbs? I know there not 100lbs more per tire than 35's. Lots of ppl run 37's on the new rubis with 4.10 no problem. As far as wear and tear go I would at minimum gusset the c's especially with 37's and you really should sleeve and/or truss that front 44
