this is kind of a silly thread to have on a JK only Forum. I said the Tj. I have a TJ and a JK, the reason I would pick a Tj are simple. the parts are so much cheaper. As far as there out of the box off road ability both jeeps are about even. The both have short coming and pluses, but with a Tj your not trashing a brand new ORV. That being said there is a reason I drive my JK 4 out of 5 work days, its that nice car like ride. other than that there both Bricks with Wheels! However the Tj will always be my favorite jeep. The Tj look is just right, classic jeep without all the hummer crap. There the last of the True Jeep For Jeep sake, Rubicon rated, not Trail rated. The Jk like all new cars had to meet certain abilities that make it more road worthy and there for more appealing to more people. the final death nail for me will be when they offer the 2 door in 2 wheel drive like the 4 door.

Nate

The 2007 is on 35s now too.

I think the JK looks slicker then the rest. I really like the fender flares on the JK compared to other wranglers, also the I think the ride is smoother on the JK.

The only thing I miss about my TJ is the engine. It was a little rocket. All the other advances on the JK eclipse that though. Gettin' too old for speed anyways (who am I trying to kid?)....

I bet the same question would have different results on a TJ forum.....

I'm on the bandwagon that my 2008 JK is my favorite because it's the one I have now! The Willys Pickup, Willys Wagon, and the YJ were all great fun. Now is now!

I've only had a JK, so not able to compare ride and features with the rest, but based on it's overall look, I just love the JK's shape and style.

CJ, not because it is the best, or most capable, etc. I just remember seeing them every where when I was a kid so that's what I think of when I think of a jeep. Plus, you just can't beat that bare bones feel and look.
