Default What would you do?????

I have a 09 unlimited sahara but i really want a rubicon. Im thinking of trading my lifted sahara for a stock 09 2dr rubicon. the rubi has 6000 miles and mine has 9500 miles.

Is the Dana 44 front with stock lockers worth starting over for or should i just wait and save money to regear mine and put lockers in it??????

Get what you want... you can always mod the new Rubi too

Would you consider putting your Sahara back to stock first ? You could put that kit and tires right on the Rubi.

My bro-in-law (ce07JK) did the same thing... Traded his lifted '07 4 door Sahara for a '09 2 door Rubi... He already lifted the Rubi and it has 35's and he's happier than a pig in #$%@ !!!

first: BFG AT 35's on Mickey Thompson's ...

At JK-Fest ... (on top of the hill)
BFG KM2 35's on Rubi wheels and spacers ...

I agree with the "get what you want" thing. But, there have been a good many people having trouble with the Rubicon lockers. That, plus you can make the D30 front just as strong or even stronger than the stock D44. So, if the front axle and lokers are your only reasons, I'd say upgrade what you have.

Redneck: Don't I correctly recall your comment that the spline count would always be a problem with the D30? What mod's do you recommend for the D30?
