What is Your Cheapest Jeep Upgrade?
Some of us are blessed with tons of money to get 2k worth of wheels and then there are the rest of us! I want to know what are cheap yet quality upgrades that you have done to your jeep?

Search for "cheap" or "upgrade" or "inexpensive". There are numerous threads asking the same questions.
Free: Drill the mirrors. Done.
Free: Flip the rearview mirror for more visibility. Never did it myself.
$6: Six dollar dash upgrade. Get a can of paint that matches the interior trim and paint the HVAC bezels and or gauge bezel. Not applicable to 2011 and maybe some earlier Rubicons. Depends on the interior trim package.
$10: HVAC LEDs. Glue an adhesive LED strip or install down facing LEDs under the HVAC vents. Lights up the dark abyss of center console. I installed green to match the gauge display. Requires 1 strip or 3 individual LEDs and some wire.
$12: Cupholder LEDs. Install LEDs at the three notches in the cupholders. Also lights up center console. Warning: A clear water or Sprite bottle will light up the interior of the hard top pretty drastically. Requires 6 LEDs and some wire.
Look around the Jeep. What do you not like?

i thought the removal of teh hood spring that sits above the radiator was a pretty effective solution for preventing the buffeting of the hood at highway speeds

Painted my wheels with rustoleum hammered black paint. Around $40 and about 7 or 8 hrs of my time. I also love the garage door opener mod!
