It depends on the mood and time of day for me. Usually night driving lends itself to something a little more calm but driving to work at 6:30 a.m. I need a little pick-me-up. Death Cab is high on my list, Conor Oberst, Ryan Adams, even a little Jay-Z mixed in. On the sirius I like the classic vinyl or xmu.

A little Rush, Journey, Dave matthews band, The Police, Van Halen. Other times it's a little Metallica, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden.
On occasion I listen to some big band/swing music (Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Etc.) I know what some of you are thinking,...... who listens to big band music anymore, I like it, it just seems to keep me in a good mood.

Other than listening to Octane and my mp3's I will listen to Fox News Channel or Patriot talk radio station so I can get some true actual non bias news from Fox and Glenn Beck so I can hear about or learn about how much more ridiculous, corrupt, crooked, sneaky, shady and pathetic Barrack Hussein Obama and his friends and staff are.
