I must say that's the first time I've seen anyone chain lick their bumpers. Sad you have to use those extremes though. I live near detroit and I haven't take mine into town at all and if it's going to sit somewhere to long I don't even take it. I caught a guy looking up under my jeep yesterday at breakfast and when I came out he just hopped in his and took off.

Someone stole my whole YJ just before last Christmas.

The question is not what did they take bit what did they leave?

I did have hard top, full doors, 31 tires, seats, hi lift, 2 jerry cans, yellow optima battery, catilitic converter, Warn 9000i winch, Tuffy clove and center boxes, cobra 75 cb, cb k40 and a few other things. OPD did not even care.

I got a 2012 JK on Christmas Eve to make up for it.

When I was in High School my whole CJ 5 was stolen buy a rich kid in a small town. It was returned to a friends house in the morning with broken ignition switch and fdup front drive shaft. My parents wouldn't let me press charges because of who they were. His dad promised to repair but never followed through. I went after him at school and got detention. I have been out of HS for 25 years and I am still pissed!!!

I have not had anything stolen out of my JK but mine is fairly stock except for lift and anything that is loose gets taken out before Jeep is left alone. BTW, I wish someone would steal my bumpers so I would have an excuse to get new ones

Man.... I parked next to a sweet rig this afternoon at tractor supply. High end wheels, lift, offroad evo bumper, doors and top off.... And a coach purse on the passenger floorboard and several bows (as in arrows) sitting on the back seat. I live in a VERY low crime area but that's still begging for something to go wrong if you ask me.
