Default What's my jeep worth?

I'm contemplating parting with my JKU for a 2013 Ram 1500 sport. I stopped by a local dealer this week and their offer on trade in made me run off in a hurry, $15, 000 was their offer. Here's my specs and I'll add pics later

2009 JKU 60, 000 miles
TF 2.5" lift w/Bilstein 5100 shocks
Line-x tub and outer rocker covers
Raptor lined front grille and bumper
Front PSC brawler lite with warn 10kwinch
Rear ACE pro series with 4" Rigid backup lights
LOD rock rails (line-x)
16" procomp 7069&35" GY duratracs
Tire and wheels are 2mths old
Flashpaq & procal
50" Rigid light bar on PSC mount
Rigid D2 fog conversion
Rigid D1 on a-pillar
Truck lite headlights 2nd gen
MBRP exhaust
Hard & soft top

Probably more than I'm not thinking of right now

Unfortunately. As with most off road machines or even modifications, you don't get much back on the goodies. Unless you find someone who wants to set their jeep up similar to yours. I always fish parting it out and putting the stock back on gets you the most return. WTH that said, I never trade in. They will flip that thing for more than $20k at your loss. Try selling it. If you part out, pm me about your goods. We'll talk.

Not sure of exact number but that's ridiculous. Jeeps are still bringing good money right now and they'd be trying to retail it for upper 20's. made the mistake of trading my 2010 rubi unlimited for a new 2011 ram 1500 cc outdoorsman a couple of years ago. Loved the truck but.....got bored fast bc it will never be a wrangler. Been back in a jeep since December and will continue to own one as long as I'm alive. Just trade for a 12 or newer to get the new motor and interior. It's a huge improvement and find a different dealer to work with. Sweet jeep by the way! Find a dealer that will swap your mods for you to your new jeep. We do it all the time at the dealership I work at.

That price is ridiculous. I personally would sell it outright. You will never get what the vehicle is worth trading it in. Something else to consider is the Jeep Wrangler keeps a much better resale value than the Ram trucks...

Worth every bit of 20k in the private market. Never trade in a Jeep.

On a side note, your JK should easily bring at least $20-$22k, maybe more. Don't let anyone low ball you on the price.

I agree with that statement. I traded a 3 yr. old Sahara 2 dr with less than 26000 miles on it, they gave me 18000 and they sold it for 249000. That's 6900.00 more that could have been mine if I wasn't impatient.

I would have ran too. We traded a 2003 jeep that was only lifted and hard/ soft top and they gave us 13,000 for it so I would go to different dealerships and see what all of them say. I say this because we had one that said 5000 and we walked off to.

Sell it privately, I sold my 06 sport 3 inch lift 33s with 60k on it for 19k, I was offered 12k by a dealer

On the North East coast I believe they go by the Galves book value. That being said I was super low balled on my trade in so I went to another dealer. Figure about $2000 under bluebook for dealer trade.
