I have found a 2008 2dr black Sahara with 12k miles on it. Its in real nice shape and the guy is firm at $17,600. Is this a fair deal?

Thanks

i think thats a pretty fair deal....of course you wont have the lifetime powertrain warranty ...which sucks......It was a big reason into why i just got a new one....lots of car troubles in the past

I haven't seen a JK in my area for less than that. Even the X model.

Considering that a new Sahara list for around 24K MSRP / 22K invoice price then I'd say for that price, assuming it's in good condition, its a great deal.

The seller will be taking over a 5K depreciation hit for 12000 miles.

Like the earlier post mentioned you won't be able to get the lifetime powertrain warranty transferred to you but you still have the remaining 3 year / 36000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.

I belive that you can purchase additional warranties if you do so before the 3 year / 36000 miles are up.

I would think it is but the big question remains....What is wrong with it that he is going to take that kind of hit in the pocketbook? You need to be very careful and see exactly why he is letting it go for that little. I know the mileage accounts for some but not the amount we are talking.

Thats a really good price on an 08 Sahara used!!!!! I see 06's list for more than that. tgoode, I dont know where you get that price but thats the price of a halfway loaded X. Sahara's invoice is 26k for a 2 door.

That's a great deal. I just bought a 2007 X for $17,500. It does have only 5000 miles though.
