You see how the jeep driver was scared to drive over that rock, lol. gotta be the driver.

 

Driver was a tool. Had no idea how to pick a line. He was also turning into the hill when the jeep was about to roll on its side. Who does that?

I'm going for driver ability.

Also the 2nd person on a non trail like that has to negotiate the first drivers ruts. The first driver had grass to tear up. The Jeep had mud and ruts to deal with. He also needed better tires it looked as if he had Bald BFG AT TKO's which suck ass on grass.

I'd say its little of a lot of stuff. Driver #1. Then tires and agree ruts n mud. But that ground pine and moss and grass is very slick. I don't know how to post a link but look on YouTube for top gear hill climb. Jeremy climbs a Scottish I guess they call it mountain in a land rover discovery. He had a ruff time on that stuff. Watch how many times they use the land anchor.
