Default Wheels/tires

Hi I'm a new (used) jeep owner. I have a 2009 unlimited Sahara. I'm really not good at technical stuff. I have 18" wheels and want to get new ones. It looks like most of the wheels I looked at are 18" X 9". Will they fit without me having to do any other modifications (other than tires) I think my current wheels are stock 18 X 7.5 i think. And if so what size tires do I then need to fit a 9inch wide rim? Thanks for any help.

If you stick with your stock wheels, you can go with 275x65 18 tires with no problem. If you want new wheels, look into 17 inch. Sky is the limit!

I recommend 17" Wheels 8.5" or 9" wide and 4" or 4.5" of back space. You will have more options with 17" wheels and the Tires tend to be lower in cost vs the 18" wheels. But its your Jeep so get what you want.
