keep dreaming if the JK is gonna get the light duty diesel in 09.

from what i remember the new JK debuted in detroit (january 06) and was available to the consumer during the summer time.

i'd say the 09's will come in the late summer/fall, and maybe the only change will be color options. seriously, what's the difference between the 07 and 08 model, other than color?

08s became orderable 2nd week of June 07. I ordered my 08 shortly thereafter and received it Sept of 07. I would expect the 09 MY to have about the same dates. I think I received my 08 before the 08 specs were even posted to Jeep.com

Wow! The three month wait nearly killed me. I can't imagine 6. What did you order? Mine's a 2-door Rubi.

Jeep needs to do something to stir up some buzz again. Like maybe

This thing would spawn a whole new array of after market products. I could see them with canvas camper shells to give it the military look. Huge winch kits in the bed. Camping options in the bed and on and on. I'll take one with a soft top and half doors please. Who's with me?

It will be. It only took me a month to drive off a rock and ding up the rear bumper.
