I hope they come out with that diesel pick up bed prototype with the extended cab this next time around. I'd purchase one.

Rumor is 2014 and with the plans of a production truck hopefully along the same designs of the jk8 cuz I would trade mine in on a heartbeat for one but I guess we will have to wait and see

Perfect, that's when I'll be ready to trade. However I don't know how they could improve in looks dept.

my bet is in 2017. that seems to be the cycle time. If I were them, I would not mess with their cash cow. Just keep updating the drive train and people will keep buying

Yea I agree I love the looks of a jk just dont care for the axles but I least they fixed the power problem

1 YJ (1987–1995)
2 TJ (1997–2006)
3 JK (2007–present)

Cept that this time they really hit a home run. I wouldn't be surprised to see the model change happen 2020 or later.

There have been some major changes in the model that as far as I know didn't happen in any previous jeep model. New engine and transmission? Complete interior refresh?

I would guess we see another powertrain/interior refresh that extends the chassis body lifespan.
