What's funny? I found my Jeep (ordered it, actually). But I'm STILL shopping - I rarely pass a Jeep dealership without perusing their inventory of 2Ds.

Mostly, I keep a running poll of how many manual transmissions are being offered. Looking like about 8 or 9 automatics are being offered for every manual transmission, at least on the dealership lots. It's one reason I decided to order mine . . .

Default Have Things Improved?

The originator of this thread suggested there were few (or no) Jeeps on lots in late 2006. At least not in Orange County, CA. Has that changed? Does your local dealer have Wranglers in stock? I'm especially interested to know if there are any other Rubicons sitting around unsold . . . my local dealer has two.

And yes, I'm pretty sure its fairly easy to find one in SoCal now. This thread was started when the JK first came out and they were nearly impossible to find anywhere. They are still somewhat hard to find in some places, but I doubt SoCal is one of them.

Ask them to ship a few to Minnesota! . . . . then maybe a few more to this thread:

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-talk-26/check-status-your-jeep-jk-wrangler-order-status-codes-161/

where some of the boys and girls are on their sixth month of waiting . . . . for something that SEEMS to be available across southern California . . .
