Default Where to store Back Section of the 3-piece Freedom Top at Apartment complex?

Hey Everyone,

I was just wondering what you guys recommend as far as storing the 3 piece hardtop freedom top when living at an apartment complex with no storage. I have a dedicated parking spot in a garage, but I don't want to just take the top off and leave it in my parking spot. I'm afraid someone will take off with it.

Any recommendations? Thx!

I dont know what it would cost but it should fit in personal storage for 6months? It might not be expensive... Plus it's out of the way and secure.

Yeah if you cannot fit it in your house you should look into a small storage room for cheap or talk to a friend/family for a corner of there yard

A few years ago I had a small storage space for my Harley. The space next to mine was occupied by a guy with a TJ Unlimited. He installed a hoist in his space and drove right in to remove and replace the top. He also stored his back seat, tires and large toolbox. It was a pretty nice setup.
The spaces were just under $50 a month.

The TJ barely fit so I don't think that space would have worked with a JK.

Nice. Tetris, gotta love it

In my younger days, my 1st gen 4Runner's top was the coffee table in my apartment from April until December.

I would either sell it and get a soft top or find a buddy with a big yard or shed or something to store it. The storage place idea isn't bad either. But DON'T put it in your parking spot. Someone will either steal it or run over it. Good luck!

A friend that will let you use part of their yard or garage would be nice. I have mine in our storage room for the summer. Had to clear out some room for it, but we already had the storage room.
