Northridge4x4 just posted a discount code and had a list of manufacturers that do not allow discounts......until they need to clear their inventory.
Unfortunately eBay or a knock-off may be the route you'll have to go if you don't have the full $$$ for it right now.

That's my understanding as well. If they do discounts then they certainly are not allowed to advertise the discounts. About the best you can do discount wise on AEV is to order from an out of state online vendor that is offering free shipping (if you ordered directly from AEV, you would likely need to pay shipping, and since it appears you are also in Michigan, would be subject to our sales tax as well).
