That is still a sweet Jeep. Looks very nice.

After hearing all the stories on here, I hold the doors very very firmly...but after saying that, I may have jinxed myself.

Who doesn't??? There are two people on this forum... Those who have the dimple already and those who just don't have it yet... but it's coming.

The trick is to park the jeep on a hill when taking off doors.

So when I finally got around to taking the doors off of my new 2 door I was super paranoid about it. I think it's inevitable though.
Dude just unhook the strap and swing them open and be done with it. Once it happens to the first side you will not be as upset when you do it to the other side. Then once it is done you can quit sweating it and enjoy taking the doors off worry free.

Here is a practical way to avoid those dimples.

Relocate your mirrors before you remove the doors.

I put on a Rugged Ridge relocation kit before I took the doors off.

Of course, now I'm being careful to not slam the doors into the mirrors

Buddy and mine had a couple of beers and took them off on a windy day.

Next time I'll avoid the windy day.

At least both sides look the same!!!

Got one on the drivers side, i'm thinking about having a couple of beers and putting one on the passenger side so it matches.
