Just being curious here,but I'm wondering who's been waiting the longest for his or her's jk

Ordered mine on jan09 -07
Stopped calling the dealer about 3 weeks ago because the b.s was starting to really p*** me off So now I'll just sit back and wait to see what happens.

p.s Last time I talked to him he swore it will be here between the 15th and 30th of september............

Wow! has there not been a jeep with the exact options you've wanted even somewhat close to where you are, even in the states? I'd have to say that is a pretty long wait, especially since you origianlly ordered an 07 and looks like now switched to an 08. You have some patience my friend. I couldn't do it. More power to you!

Not really!!!!!!!!!!!!(the patience that is).It's just that they have me by the b*** When i ordered it I had a buyer for my 2003 tj and they treated it as a trade in and sold it to my buyer at the same price.(that way i get a sales tax credit for that amount)So all I can do is wait

hello 5andcounting we have chatted before im the one that ordered an 07 rubicon from midland and i fell your pain if there is anyone that desevers his Jeep its you i thought i waited a long time march 30th 07 but borders on the line of cruel my fingers are crossed that a you a fellow canadian gets to leave the waiting room i dont know if this will help since ive only had mine since friday the 16th when you finnaly get your Jeep the wait will be worth it

 

Jan. 14, 2007, here. I went as far as sending an e-mail containing a link to this forum to my dealer's salesperson and the dealer's business representative for the West Coast. I conveniently linked them to a page in which people had pictures of their Rubicons and descriptions of the same options I had. Do you think I received an information response?

Not-uh. My salesperson sent me an e-mail saying she had forwarded my e-mail to her general manager. I received nothing else. I'm still in BG status, mind you.

 

I waited eight and a half months from initial order.

As they say, all GREAT things come to those that wait. It was certainly worth the wait.

Ordered my 08' Rubi in Apr 07'. As of right now, it's sitting on a dock somewhere in San Diego waiting to get on a boat to Korea. Funny thing is...It's been sitting there since 22 Aug, and it would still be sitting there "unreleased" for shipment if I didn't contact the person in charge of Pacific Rim shipments.
I've been relentlessly hounding my new car salesman. Asking him where my Jeep is. He kept telling me "its just waiting for the next boat". After a little searching, I found out that 5 ships had sailed from that port that could of carried my Jeep. Turns out......now get this.....there was an unpaid balance of $211.50 on my Jeep. That's why she couldn't release it. I've already made 2 payments on load!!!! Unbelievable!!!
Needless to say, I was pretty pissed. Last Monday I went in, barked at my salesman a bit, swiped my Visa, and took care of the problem that he didn't even knew existed...
So, re-emailed the lady at the docks. She assures my my Jeep will be on the next boat . I requested she send me a copy of the ships manifest to ensure my Vin num. is on it.

So, I'm looking at about 3 more weeks till i take delivery

wow, I can't believe you are still waiting ! That really sucks! I know when we got ours at the end of July, you were the only one left that ordered before us (Feb order), I thought for sure you would have got it by now. I hope you get it soon!

All I can tell you is I'm still in this boat because there is no way out besides taking a huge loss .Like I said before this is my 5th new jeep and there is no way on earth that I will being doing business with this half assed company again!!!
