I think the ones under the Jeep and in the wheel wells gotta go. I wouldn't want to slam anyones cool Jeep but that is kinda stupid. But thats just my opinion. The strobes are cool, but if it were me I'd take off the bottom ones. Too ricer I think.

I don't think strobes should be allowed on anything but emergency vehicles, too much of an opportunity for them to be used to scare someone in an uncool way. At least they're not blue or red that I can tell.
This fellow may not be this way but there are plenty of idiots who would think it's funny to run up behind someone and turn them on. A lot of folks wouldn't know what to do in that situation and it could turn out bad, especially if they did it in traffic.

Wide Load (semi) Escort Vehicles (my dad's company has YJ's as escorts)
Certain industrial sites require a strobe on the roof. The oil sands mining sites for example.
Farmers moving equipment, I've used a strobe while pulling a grain auger down the road.
So there are a number of proper applications for strobes. They all involve the safety of the driver and the other people on the road!!

What's up with all the nay sayers of amber strobes? Drive on 294 around Chicago sometime. You'll find all kinds of safety vehicles with strobes! I'd love to have them on my Jeep should I be broke down. So many idiots driving 20 mph over the speed limit, you'd need those strobes just to get their attention, to show that someone is ahead of them, so slow down!
Stupid or not, those people will be alive.
