Why is this $31,995?
Hi guy & girls,
Just went to my Jeep dealer and saw this Rubicon Unlimited for $31,995.
It's a 2008, don't know anything else about it but it looks stock with a probably not off-road worthy step bar and wheels.
Then I went to the Jeep website and they have a Sahara that's brand new with all the warranty and it's CHEAPER? (click comparison picture below)
I know you can't compare a Rubi to a Sahara but, is this dealer asking too much or is the resale value really so fantastic?

typical example of what they are asking vs. what they know they are going to get. If it is something you are interested in, believe me they are going to deal...

Wiggle
They have padded it enough for "Wiggle Room". But still way too high.
Good luck to them.
I can buy a brand new 2011 Rubicon (that I know is a Rubicon) for $34,705 (internet price)

maybe just rubi stickers..? You could always look at the front axle and make sure it's a d44(same as rear). Or check for electronic sway bars disconnect button in the cab (along with some other obvious stuff).
Also, those rims have got to be close to 200+ a piece new and with the new tires maybe that's where they are getting the extra 8k from? I'm thinking you should be able to get away with it for close to 23k depending on mileage.
Got my '10 rubi 2 door for close to that (31 ish) after TTL... But I am talking U$$ and not Canadian dollars.
