So, I was bored and was on youtube and searched for "JK unlimited" and this is what came up. A JK Unlimited with 22" rims. It doesn't in any way look attractive. Probably some ghetto guy who thought rims would look good on the JK.

Edit: to each their own. If you like big chrome rims on your Jeep i won't stop you from doing it and if that how you like to spend you hard earned money i have no problem with you doing that to your own vehicle. However, if someone put these on my Jeep i would Puke as this look is definately not for me.

 

Jesus, ive said it once in another thread, and ill say it again....why do Jeep owners care so much what another person does with the vehicle that they paid their hard earned money for, just like you? Not to mention the underlying racism, with everyone talking about how "ghetto" they look....

Some Jeep owners seriously need to get over themselves. What about the guy who lifts his Jeep and puts big tires on it but never takes it off road....what makes him any different than the guy who decided to put rims on his Jeep?

And no, I do not have, nor do I plan on putting big rims on my Jeep, but Im just saying.....

 

i've brought up the "underlying racism" thing a few times. people try to downplay it or just ignore it. though i doubt they'd like it if i started describing various members or their setups as "hillbilly" and "redneckish" in a spiteful, scoffing manner...

I am not into lowering or putting "bling" or big rims on my Jeep either, but to each his/her own. Maybe we can chalk it up as a small offshoot of the Jeep's capability. Our JKs can climb the highest peaks, fjord streams, and apparrently now they can also "pimp". Basically, I am saying that all of our Jeeps make us happy in our own ways. Let this guy enjoy his too.
