Why is benchmark still a vendor on this forum?
I am not trying to be a smart-ass and this is not a rhetorical question. I would really like to know based on all the negative postings. Undoubtedly, the products are good (based on the many comments), but there are such incredible amount of negative comments and the fact that another forum member had to threaten legal action to finally get a response is, to me, not acceptable. Thanks to this forum, I have decided not to buy anything from Benchmark. I am wrong in asking this question, "why is Benchmark still a vendor on this forum"?
Hopefully, Benchmark will check this Forum, and realize that even if they have "good" products, people will be turned off by their lack of communication. There are plenty of talented people out there working to gain customer loyalty by not only offering good products, but actually PAYING ATTENTION to Customers. Benchmark, can you hear us now? I wanted to buy an Evap skid, but no response to phone or e-mail said if you don't care, why should I ?

They pay to have "vendor" under their name, keep in mind that we need vendors to put in dough so we can all be free members here. Make your own positive difference and blast benchmark in your signature line if you despise them so much and want to warn everyone- seriously.
ORH was never a vendor. Just how much money was taken by either one? Do you have these amounts to share? Or are you using the old "pull it out of your ass" method as your statistical research?

And your right, they weren't a vendor, my bad. But are they not either blacklisted or officially frowned upon by WOL? Not that I care, its his site and he can do what he wants with it. I just enjoy using it.

Oh and thanks for the open hostility. I've been one of the guys defending John as an up and coming business. So maybe you can pull your head "out of your ass" and settle down a bit.

I'm going on the amount of people that shelled out huge cash in preorders for benchmark and NEVER received a product (or a poorly manufactured one) vs people that paid ORH for a top and got slow delivery of a high quality product.
And your right, they weren't a vendor, my bad. But are they not either blacklisted or officially frowned upon by WOL? Not that I care, its his site and he can do what he wants with it. I just enjoy using it.

I'm not being hostile. You are the one making up slanderous statistics.
At least those who go through threads will see what has been Benchmark's standard of customer service. I really wanted to go for their evap skid and dual battery tray, but since every post I've seen says "long wait" or "won't respond to calls or emails" I opted against it. I think a "good product" with great customer service trumps a "great product" with atrocious service.
Chill! Robar, could you contact Benchmark ? He might respond to you- sometimes the desperate job of floating a business blinds people to the basics- Customers. Open warfare , pleasing to Trolls, destroys the Forum....
