Default Why I've been avoiding ESC like the plague until now...

Just about lost the Jeep in a NASCAR style crash. Was coming back from lunch and I haven’t driven it in heavy rain much since I got it. I hit some standing water at 55 MPH in thick traffic and I guess the traction control system took over and started pulling the wheel. So I had to two-hand fight it to keep it straight and avoid spinning like Michael Waltrip at Talladega. You couldn’t have driven a roofing nail up my ***hole when that happened... scared me to death. Probably scared the cars around me worse.

The person who decided to put electronic garbage all over the new 4x4s should be drug out into the middle of the street and hog-tied and left in traffic.

I've owned everything from Camaros and Mustangs, to compact and full size pickup trucks, to SUVs. You name it, I've probably had it. And this JKU is the FIRST vehicle that I have ever owned that actually scares me the way it handles and drives, even when it's sunny outside. That includes a worn out '92 YJ that I lifted and drove daily.

I am not used to feeling like I need to keep two hands on the wheel all the time. God forbid that I should need to make an emergency stop in traffic one day, because there is no telling where this thing will come to a final rest or which side of it will be facing the sky when it does.
