Default Wide tires

I am new to the jeep world. I bought a 2 door X about 4mos ago. I am going to put the 2" OME lift and 35" tires. My question is with 1.5" wheel spacers will a 14.5" wide tire work. I absolutlely love my jeep and will get some pics up when I am done with everything. I will also be buying everything from Northridge. Thanks in advance.

33x12.5's will work on the stock 17" rims with 1.5" spacers. (and a 2 inch lift) I had a friends on mine for a while to confirm it.

I dont know of anyone locally running 35x14.5's to ask to borrow their setup for testing; but i would guess that under full articulation (& especially turning), you would encounter rubbing. To what degree, i simply cant answer.

Not a great answer i know, but it's all i got.

i assume that if you are going to a 14.5" wide tire you would be getting new wheels, (i would) 14.5 is WAY wide for the stock rims IMHO. If you are getting new wheels, just get them with the backspacing adjusted for your use so that you dont need to waste a couple hundred bucks on spacers.

Edit: Oops, i see you are on the other thread, better info there.
