Wife told me she wants a FJ!!!!!
My wife has been wanting a new vehicle. Today she told me she wanted an FJ. She seemed dead serious. After the awful look on my face and my heart skipping a beat she said " I want a F**king Jeep".
Toyota is cancelling production of the FJ due to extremely low sales.
Walk her through the alphabet soup of electronics that are standard on the JK vs the hill assist on the FJ
Throwing the top back alone on a soft top or taking the roof panels off on a hard top should convince her.
Also let her experience the Jeep wave just once and she'll be a Jeeper.

We traded our FJC in for our JK. My wife kept backing it into the side of our house.
It was a decent vehicle otherwise, but in the end it's just a funky body on the same damn running gear as a Tacoma and 4Runner... which are way more practical, logical and useful than a FJ.
So here's what you do: Take her for a testdrive in the most boring 4 Runner you can find and yawn a lot, then test drive an FJC with her, complain that it's all style over substance and that you liked the 4 runner better. Then almost run over your dog/child/pet cow/greyhound bus while backing it up... she'll be begging for a Jeep in no time...
