Default Will this work with JK doors?

Will this storage system work with JK front doors? The page doesn't list the JK doors as working with it and I was wondering if there is a design difference in the JK door that prevents them from fitting.

The only potential problem could be that damn molded pocket on the front doors.

You nailed it!

Just spoke to a Quadratec rep and he said this item would not work with the JK doors. I asked if the problem is that damn molded pocket on the front door and his reply was yes.

Guess I'll just have to build my own. IIRC someone posted how they did it in another thread.

What about if you relocated you mirrors? The doors will fit with the outside of each door facing each other.

You probably could do that but then you might end up with the exterior finish of the doors rubbing against each other. I also don't like the mirror relocation kit with the ugly plug (IMHO) for the door.

No matter what way you put them on there I would put something between the door window frame for a little protection.

So there you go... If you put the doors on there facing each other you can't see that ugly plug.

If you are really interested in something like that you could build something very easily and inexpensively. I am pretty sure there is a write up in the appropriate section.
