I'll never wheel by myself with out a winch ever again.... It's an investment that pays for it self the first tome you use it.... Even if it's 3 years down the road.

Get a winch bumper and a winch.

Go for the winch bumper. The Jeep is very light so it works much better if you need to rescue someone to have the winch to use instead of trying to jerk them with the very light Jeep and a strap. With the winch you can pull something out of a ditch that weighs more than three times your weight as long as you are anchored to something to hold you still. There are lots of ways to get it so your Jeep will be held in place for a recovery operation.

I bet lots of people in New York wish they had a winch with that last storm. They come in handy for lots of things.

You've got me curious now: He asked that question a year ago, and has only four posts total. I wonder if he got stuck somewhere, winchless, and he's still waiting for a rescue.

Winch. Assuming you offroad. The more you get into it (offroading), the more likely you will need it.
