Default Window Scratch

It has likely been covered before, but you know how the search is here...

I was lazy this week and with rain threatening all week, drove around in Sunrider mode ( not my favorite, but what can ya do...) with the rear window unzipped and drooped onto a soft towel in the back.

Needless to say (but I will anyway), when I put up the top and window this morning for the upcoming storm, the rear window had a nice scratch it in.

I'd like to know what products are reccomended to work this scratch out, if it is even possible. There are quite a few products around, I would just like to hear what people have had success with here.

I think its best not to worry about the window scatches, Its gonna end up looking like old tupperware in the long run anyway. If you try to polish them out it will be a full time job. Thats my $.02. I'm sure some folks will be able to keep their windows pretty, but I seem to scratch them without hardly trying.

When had my soft top on my other jeep a fellow Jeeper told me to buy pledge lemon furniture polish is has to be the real one not a generic brand. Spray on the windows then wipe down and it really works well.

I highly recommend using the Novus 3 stage scratch remover as it works wonders. 4WD.com has a kit that even comes complete with 303 protectant...

A guy with a TJ does the same thing. Sprays the Pledge onto a cotton towel, and wipes it down. It's pretty good at getting out small scratches... The bigger ones, I don't know about...

Thanks Eddie, that's perfect! Plus, I can never have enough 303! I love that stuff!
I've ordered from 4WD.com and it is already on it's way to me!

Thanks!

Lol, you're eventually going to give up on the scratches When I first bought my TJ I was like you all paranoid about it, but then it seems like everytime you look at it a small one shows up....eventually I didn't care anymore.
