Hey yall .....can a crack this big be fixed??? Just curious...:hoping:

Not likely. The best you could hope for is that your glass company will drill the end to stop it from spreading. However it very likely that it will spread further while drilling it. In our shop we will do it for a regular customer who understands the risk but we won't do it for the average Joe as the risk of the crack running further is likely.

My windshield caught a stone out on I10, I think I paid $150.00 installed.

I'd say its a goner - and i'd look into glass insurance, IMHO all jeeps should have it.

Replaced windshield in January, new chip in it yesterday. I think I should get frequent flyer miles from Safelite.

I want the oem glass with all the insignia on it though ....don't ask me why but I'm a stickler or ocd don't know which about having a replacement look like the oem.

Paid 144 installed for mine and I bought the logos for the windshield on eBay for 7.99. Saved $100.
