Default Winter Chill Color
Can anyone confirm one way or the other if it is possible to order a Wrangler in Winter Chill outside of the Arctic Package... My buddy loves the color, but wants it on a 4 door Rubicon.....

later this model year it is said to be available in all models.(after Jan.)

Final production scheduled to end:
  • Cosmos Blue (PB4) - 11/21/11
Initial Production is scheduled to begin for:
  • Black Mopar Slush Mats (CWZ) - 11/15/11
  • Katzkin Deluxe Leather 2-Tone (AJC) - 12/05/11
  • Customer Preferred Package (2TV) - 12/07/11
  • Gecko Pearl Coat (PFM) - 01/09/12
  • Winter Chill Pearl Coat (PBA) without Arctic Package (AAH) - 02/01/12

I was told arctic package only--I just ordered my JKU and I wanted it too. Got Crush instead

I read somewhere starting February the color will be available without the arctic package, but I can't find the source now

Its Artic package exclusive until January. So if you love the color but want a different trim package you will have to wait (though not much longer)

Jeep.com gives the option to choose Winter Chill when building other models, but when I called my dealership just now they said it isn't available.

Ordering Winter Chill closed last week.

I think jeep.com allows you to "build" a Winter Chill Wrangler so that you can search existing dealer inventory for a match.
