Yea this clip has been around. I sat watching it the first time I can see the guy is like.. "are you SURE?!".. he can tell it's getting tippy and she just keeps telling him to keep turning into the rollover. Makes no sense.

But bottom line is trust your instincts no matter who the spotter is. If you feel like the rig can't handle the line the spotter is putting you on.. JUST SAY NO! Bottom line responsibility is the drivers.

How about, "choose a spotter you trust"? There are members in my club I will not let spot me.

I'm not an expert but on a tough obstacle I walk it and pick the line then my spotter spots me on that line after we both agree on it. I never would have attempted that line myself. The other thread on this shows the line I'd have chosen just watching the original video.

Get all of the info before jumping on the 'worst spotter ever' bandwagon.

The other thread (linked above) has another video that shows that same woman spotting other vehicles going up that exact same line. It seems to be a problem with the setup of this one particular top-heavy vehicle trying to drive on a line that has him sliding sideways while driving cross-hill. -- And not necessarily with the instructions from the spotter.

Yes, you have to trust your spotter. But bottom line, that driver chose to run that line.

I think she might have guided others up the same way...but it wasnt the same line....

Lots of public profanity just now as I watched that video... I recall muttering "... I'd probably kill that bitch."
