Is it worth it?
I found a 2007 4 door jk with 126000 miles for 15,500. From the pictures and talking with the owner I believe its in good shape and hasn't been abused. He's selling this one because he bought a new jeep. Its located in Georgia so it should be rust free. Its a Unlimited X sport 4x4 with 6 spd manual tranny with the soft top. Does this sound like a decent deal to you guys and gals.

That's a lot of miles.
Remember, the Unlimited X came in a 2wd version that year, so if you are thinking about buying it at all, make sure it's got 4wd.
The X was also the base model, so it's probably got 3.21 gear ratio, which is going to be nearly inadequate if you ever put larger tires on.
The asking price isn't out of range depending on what options it's got (hard top, power options, 4x4, etc). But also consider it's a 7 year old truck with darn near 130,000 miles. If your budget can creep upwards to around 20k, that gets you a lot more used Jeep. If not, I'd say really work the guy and/or keep looking. Jeep Wranglers aren't rare.
Good luck!

The 07 models also had optional 4.10 gears and a rear locker on all models so check that out. Some early ones had dana 35 rear axles too. Try and get a build sheet on it to know exactly what you are getting.

15K seems steep for a 7 year old JK with lots of miles. If your not into all the fancy options (like myself) look for a new base JK sport. I got my '13 sport new for 21K and some change. Manual everything (no power options), soft top, 6 speed, A/C, & 3.73's is all it came with. If not I would keep shopping for something a little newer than 07 and less miles.
