Yes. That is a decent hitch. The price is decent, too.

I got it here for less than $50:

http://w ww.autopartsdealer.com/smittybilt_hitches-p238688-p.html

Free shipping if over $50 so I added a 69 cents decal.

It ships from Texas so you should have it in a day.

I got it in two days.

Help! I just got the hitch, and when I bought it on 4 wheel parts' web page it says it has a 350lb tongue weight (you can get to that threw the link on the first post) I just got it here, and it says that the tongue weight for the hitch on a 2 door is 200lb? I got it from a different place than 4 wheel parts, but its the same model hitch and everything. Can somebody please shed some light on this? Does the hitch actually have a 350lb tongue weight, they just recommended on a 2 door not putting more than 200 on it?

A 4 wheeler loaded correctly will play hell putting anything close to 200 pounds tongue weight on a hitch. I'd use it. The 2 door recommendations are taking into account your short wheelbase and your ability to control a heavily loaded trailer with said wheelbase....

Benny,

The hitch is designed to carry a 350 lbs tongue weight but if you read your manual, the towing capacities for the JK 4 door is much more than the 2 door. Smittibuilt (and every other hitch manufacturer) designed a hitch for all JK.

They have to cover their asses legally and put that statement on the installation instructions.

In conclussion, the hitch will hold, the Jeep is the limiting factor.
