Would You Do It All Over Again?
Ok, if you are a brand new owner of a JK I'd suggest you not respond on this thread. Of course I can't "make" you not respond, just suggest it. In addition, to be quite fair about it, if you're a JK owner who's owned a previous Wrangler it could be argued that you have enough objectivity to answer here. As a general rule I would submit that you need to be in your 6th month of more of JK ownership to be objective enough here, which really is a lot of us.
Why six months or more. Well, we all know that during that first two to three months of owning any brand new vehicle we tend to overlook any short comings or regrets with respect to that vehicle. People can get emotional about a new ride and sometimes that emotion can override good common sense. But typically, after about three months the new has worn off and you stat to be a lot more objective about a vehicle.
So, having said that, how many of you would buy another JK? If you did would you get the same kind or would you change some things about your next Jeep? Do you have any regrets, and by that I mean actual regrets? Bitching about the aftermarket doors you put on it doesn't count. Nor does bitching about the gas mileage, you knew what the mileage was when you bought that rascal.
As for me, hell yes I'd buy another one. Next time however I'll get the half doors instead of full doors. I'd keep the soft top because frankly a Jeep is not a Jeep with a hard top CCD (LOL). Just kidding bro. Anyway, I'd also opt for an upgraded stereo, but really that's about it. Maybe a different color.

It's good that you're plannin' on going with the soft top 'cause you can't get the hard top w/ 1/2 doors anyway!

Why don't you add a poll to this? Some good options would be:

Why don't you add a poll to this? Some good options would be:
- No, I'd buy something other than Chrysler, Chrysler customer service sucks!
- No, I'd probably buy something else in the Chrysler line
- No and I'm not brand loyal at all... might be Chrysler, might not
- Yes, but I'd get an X instead of my Sahara/Rubicon

- Yes, but I'd get a Rubicon 'cause they're BADASS!
- I'm content with what I've got...
My wife wants me to buy another one right now
If so it would be another 4 door, no way would she gets a Ruby
I would go with a X and dual tops, she would like the rear windshield wiper in the winter
This one would have the Auto in it, She is just a little to short for another 6 speed.
Otherwise no regrets on mine

Yeah I know you can't get a hardtop with half doors. That was just a shot at a buddy of mine who posts on here that has a hard top. I personally prefer the soft top. As for a poll with all those options. Nah. Let's keep it simple. Would you buy another one or not and if so would you change anything. If they're off to buy something else, great, but I couldn't care less what that something else is.

I bought mine used so I didn't get to pick options. If I were in a position to get a new JK...
- Rubicon
- Dual tops
- Upgraded stereo
- 2-door (if my fiance was to take over the 4-door).
- Replenished budget for aftermarket modifications.

Assuming I could keep this one and afford anything I wanted with the next one I would go with a 4 door rubicon softtop on the next one. If we can do additions I would get wider tires, bumpers, winch, and maybe a lift. I also want the sahara sidesteps (or equivilent for the wife and girls as I am usually in the mud not rocks) and the carpet removed and the whole thing Rhino (or equivilent) lined. These are things I think I could get the dealer to do.
There are several aftermarket additions I would make but as far as getting another JK hell yes it's not that I need any of this I am happy but some things would be nice. I would be happy with a base X next time just as long as I get to add stuff as I go.
