Default Would you have purchased a LWB 2-door?

I've often wished that Jeep had continued the long wheelbase Unlimited 2-door in addition to offering the 4-door. Sort of a "tweener" with more room in the back (and a better ride) than the 2-door, but without the full length of the 4-door, and at a price that's closer to the 2-door.

Ya, I know, dream on. But my question is: would you have bought one if it were available? I hear lots of 4-door owners say they bought a JKU in order to haul more stuff. And I'm sure I'm not the only 2-door owner who pines for a bit more space.

EDIT: whoops! The fourth poll option was supposed to say "No, and I own a 4-door." If a mod could fix this I'd be ever-so-grateful.

I bought a LWB so I could carry more stuff, not more people. I go fishing, camping, hiking, country shooting excursions, etc., and I always need more cargo room.

nope... own a 4 door.

would I buy a TJ unlimited as a dedicated trail rig platform... oh yes. But the lwb 2 doors look goofy as hell... unless you brute them

I chose bacon because I like the look of them and the extra space. But I have no idea if I'd want to buy one until I drove it.

One of the selling points to me with my current 2dr is that it turns corners and into parking spaces etc etc like it was a mini. I love that. I drove a silverado for 3 weeks while my Jeep was at the shop after an accident. I had to 3 point turn EVERYTHING. and it was a pain in the arms to turn (made me tired to drive it around)

I also have a mini and it doesn't turn half as tight as the jk, love the Mini but don't drive it any more unless i have to.

Before I actually owned a jeep I thought the LWB was ugly compared to the SWB. Now that I actually own one, a 2 door, I can see the appeal. I like the 4 doors but really have no reason for one at this point in my life. I'm not regretting the 2 door purchase at all but I'd love a little extra room. So yes I'd buy a LWB. Still think the SWB looks better.

I would buy a LWB 2dr in a heart beat, especially if it put the wheel base around 106". That way I would stop thinking about the Rock Krawler stretch kit.

Isn't there an informal rule that Bacon be an included option in any poll that's posted?
