Wrangler and child car seats
I have 1 in a booster seat and another one that's 4months old.
What about long car rides are they uncomfortable due to the fact that the rears seats are pretty straight.

Before long, he'll be in a booster seat too, so it won't be a big deal.
Earlier this summer when I had the top and doors off, my wife asked me to leave before her anytime she needed to take my son anywhere, because as soon as he saw my Rig, he would run over and climb in and she had a tough time getting him out. At 2yo he already knows that Jeeps RULE!

I have one booster seat, the only prob i've seen is when they fall asleep they do a serious bobble head, the back seat is just too upright. Othewise she luvs it. It just makes my wife and I uneasy when we see her head going to and fro
I have one forward-facing (outboard position) and one rear-facing (middle seat position). The rear-facing sits a little snug against the forward facing, but I am more comfortable with the baby in the middle position - plus it just fits better than having the front seat moved closer to the dash.
Positioning the forward-facing seat can be a challenge due to the headrests in the 4-door. I lowered the seat to release the headrest lock and positioned the seat before releasing the headrest. This allowed the carseat to sit fully on the bottome cushion and for the back of the carseat to fit firmly on the Jeep backrest. The headrest leans against the back of the carseat. With the easy access to the LATCH system, installation is rather easy and the seat does not move at all.
When we originally considered the Jeep, we thought we would drive it sparingly with the kids and rely on the MDX as the family-mobile. However, we are more than comfortable with the kids in the Jeep so we take it alot on the weekends - just not with the top down because the baby is only 10 weeks old.
