I noticed some oil spots on my front wheel well this week. I kept checking to make sure I hadn't run over anything and more spots
Well I took it to the dealer this morning for my recall and free oil change and showed him he said nothing should be coming from that area but will ck.
Well my front axel was leaking, it only has 7000 miles on it and has never been off road or even in 4 wheel drive yet.
They gave me a free loaner car (how nice)
said it was not safe to drive.
Gee what if I hadn't noticed the spots.

Unfortunatly shit happens. A seal is no big issue. Nothing to worry about anyway just an anoyance.

 

Mine went in my 2012 at some point. Just took it in and had them replace the seals. Yay for warranty.
