X Decals
I know this is probably been asked a thousand times sorry. I've searched and haven't really found what I was looking for.
My question is if you have an X and have removed the decals. How long did you wait to do it and was there a noticeable difference in the paint from were the decal was to else where? Mine is black so I am guessing it would be more noticeable on mine then on other colors possibly.
Thanks for any insight.

Jeep Green Jeep, always parked outside in the sun. It was well over a year before I pulled mine and replaced with the JK stickers from the forum. Can't tell any difference in paint shade.
I took my 'X' decals off right away, but waited almost a year before I took off the 'Wrangler' part of it and it came off fine.
I just recently took off my chrome Jeep emblem on the front (mostly because the chrome was peeling off of them?? and partly because I think it looks better without them) and I can see where they were. It has more shine where the letters were. I even waxed the front grill to see if it helped and it still looks bad. Any ideas? You think it might be because it's made of plastic? I think I'm going to end up painting the front grill black eventually, anyway.
(and I am not really new here I'm just quiet)

Thanks for the replies guys. I was just curious its not really that big of deal cause worse blemishes are bound to happen. However it would just be an annoyance. However those JK stickers look pretty awesome.
