so... are you saying... that an "X" is at the heart of all jeeps... or does it mean that every jeep wishes it were an "X"

yes, the early production ones had hood insulation.

My Jk was built October 06 , I also have the hood light too!

You mean they cut that stuff? That's lame. Mine has a 11/06 build date and has the insulation and hood light too.

yup... no hood light... no insulation... no footwell light... but thats okay... b/c its just one more thing to clean/break!

there's a thread on here , where we talked about the cut off dates. Etc..

Guess what I get when ice is on the hood of my jeep and then started?? I get a $ sign!! Not really, but it sure feels that way sometimes.

It says they cut out all the cool sh!t on the X so they could Make the Sahara Better LMAO JK had too the door was open.
