I have been reading this forum for about a month and a half and have learned so much about the JK! Thanks for the fantastic info!!
I'll get to the point... I drove through one of my local dealerships today and noticed a Red Rock 4 door X with painted fenders! ?? I got out of my truck and started looking at the Jeep and what did I find... The passenger side said X and the drivers side said Sahara! Yes it was an 08, BRAND NEW!
I think it must have been built on a Friday! Am I missing something? I have half the notion to call the dealership and say something. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Both sides painted and 18" wheels. Yes, all five!

 

I can't believe you posted this. I saw a red rock unlimited at a gas station yesterday. As I walked by it the drivers side said X and the passenger side said Sahara. It had the X fenders on it, but had the Sahara wheels. I thought about waiting to talk to the owner, but I didn't stick around. I can't believe somebody saw another one.

Hmmm. i am thinking a screw up. But hey if they are selling it for X price hit on that quick

If not i would inform them that they need to look up the numbers on it.
