I have a silly question. Is the Detonator Yellow for the JK the same yellow that was an option on the TJ's? I hope it's not some super bright yellow like the H3.

It's this yellow. Haven't seen it on a Jeep yet but am very excited.

ok, then. no, the old yellow color is listed as "Solar Yellow." the new color is "Detonator Yellow."

no prob. i haven't seen it on a jeep, but theres a dodge dealership that i pass on the way to my wife's office fairly regularly, and they had a charger there in detonator yellow.

it does look pretty close to the image on jeeps site. it's not as bright as the old solar yellow, and more of a muted color. hate to say it, but it does remind me of the yellow that hummers come in.
