Yesterday.....WOW
Yesterday was both awesome and pretty rough. First, the positive. I finally got my MORE stubby on my JK. I love it! It is every bit as solid as some of the forum members told me it would be. I also love the LineX on it.

Too the rough part. After the install me and a buddy decided too take our JK's out for a little bit of fun on what was a pretty nice day. Nothing too serious, just a little tooling around at a local ATV park (The Mounds in Mr Morris MI). Everything was fine and dandy until we were getting ready too leave. On our way out of the park my buddy drove over what we later found out was the biggest, nastiest tank track in the park (Over 6 ft deep). The ice broke and the next thing we knew he was 3-4 ft deep in the nasties mud I could imagine. I did everything I could with my JK but I wasn't budging him. About 3 hours later a park Ranger was able too get a hold of a local that routinely gets people out. Anway. His JK was running the whole time up until the last bit of the pull out of the hole. Once out we couldn't get it started. It was spitting and sputtering like it couldn't get gas. So $250 dollars later his Jeep is back into his heated barn and it still wont fire (day after).

The line is the edge of the hole. It was how the Jeep was resting . You can see because it was about 0 degrees by time we got it out. The mud, which was nasty, was rock hard too the touch. The edge of the hole pretty much ripped the rear fender flare off while we were trying too get it out.

This was the other side. It was up in the air on flinging mud like crazy. The mud shown it ROCK hard too the touch.
Anyway. The Jeep was running for the whole pull out of the hole until the front end was brought out. I was in it then because my buddy was wet and frozen trying too dig it out. I think it has something too do with the gas tank. Either the fuel pump isn't working properly or there is water in the tank because it stalled out ONLY when the rear submerged. You can see the frozen water level on the first pick. It was right at the gas cap.
He cleaned it today and is still letting it thaw. I am going too get him too run a diagnostic test for the codes. Any other opinions about what it could be? Sucks because his warranty just ran out.

It was Herb but he couldn't bring out his "Big truck" because he didn't have headlights on it. He had some Chevy with a winch mounted in the Bed that got us out. Good guy though. For all the work they did $100 wasn't a bad price. They had 4 guys there trying too get it out. They said it was the last hole anyone would want too find their way into.
I agree about the Mounds in the Winter though. My buddy had no idea that hole was under him.
