Yet another pricing question
Ok, half of you have posted a question something like this, so now it's my turn. How does this sound to all of you out there:
2009 Unlimited, S package, auto (not preferred, but it'll do), not necessarily the color of choice, $24422.
Sound like a deal?

Not to me. But I'm not looking either.
Look, it's either a good buy for you or it's not. What I, or anyone else, thinks doesn't matter. If you need validation, use a recognized guide like Kelly Blue Book. No matter what you buy it at, somebody somehwere got a better deal. So if you're not able to be happy with what deal you make, you'll never be happy.

I'll put it this way: When next august/ september rolls around and I'm ready to get into a JK and the 2011's start coming out, if a dealship offered me that price on a new 2010 I'd probably just take it.
If it's still new and has most of the stuff you want and if you can live with the price and payments, I would go for it. The time to buy was this past Jan-April. They will never make deals on Wranglers like that again. ~24,000 for a vehicle that probably MSRPd for ~28,000 isn't too shabby.
