Default Zipper issue

I was taking off my back window panel a few months back and I noticed that my zipper had a part that was undone. Now when I try to take off my back window I can only zip up to that part and it gets stuck. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how was it fixed.

Try and straighten out the teeth as much as possible. And make sure when you get the teeth lined up properly when first starting to zip up. Best advice I can give, I've had this too, not on a section that big, but essentially the same idea.

Good luck!

It does suck. I had it happen recenty and about blew my top! hahahh I had to use pliers to pull it down far enough to even get it started unzipping. Be very careful zipping it back up to align all the teeth.

Just had same issue. Right side just below upper corner. I used flat nosed pliers and a prayer to force it up and through. Made it thru and was able to re-zip properly!

The plier method was the way I was going to go. Thanks for all the advice.

Rear zipper sucks. Is there an option that provides security and weatherproofing that is available?

I'm guessing that's the hardtop. :-) I just thought since it seems to be hard to zip them things up, this unzipped issue wouldn't have happen.

Yeah I know the hardtop works. I was thinking how to maybe make something that snapped in instead of a zipper.

I had it happen to me once. I messed around with it a little and then realized the I had the corners about a half an inch too far forward. I pulled the corners back and unzipped and then re-zipped the window. Now I make sure that I pull the corners towards the back after I put the side windows in before I zip my rear window. Haven't had a problem since. Fingers crossed.
