I went on my first trail ride yesterday without really knowing what to expect. I think I did fairly well but made 1 newbie mistake and that was not being in 4lo at the begining. I was yanked out 3 times but of course I was not the only one.
We went places I would not thought a vehicle would go.

Ended up with scratches on the front and rear passenger fenders from trees and nice scratches on rear bumper from the drops into creeks and mud. All I could see was dollar signs as I was sliding toward trees. Some places were tight between the trees. Of course mt TPMS light is on now and does not want to go off.


We had a blast and here are some photos but of course here are none of the hairy parts.

I went and got my 1st complimentary oil change this morning. The mechanic said to me "looks like you been having fun but you should really clean the mud from around your transmission before it overheats"

So I spent this afternoon "chiseling" mud from above the skid plates and spraying it off with a hose. Was not fun.

 

Don't worry, the stealership always tells you to clean the underside. You will only want more and don't worry about the fenders, you can chop them when you are ready. Welcome to the addiction.
