Looks like you guys had a good time out there, its too bad I didn't know, I would have loved to head out there, its just down the road from me. Enjoy butcher jones while you can, we, and by we i mean the forest service and by forest service i mean the recreation side, so don't blame me I'm just a firefighter, are closing the entrance to the rolls at the butcher jones parking lot at the start of the wash. I don't even want to tell you how much the new gate we're putting up is costing, lets just say you could get your self a new jeep for the price. (and we're buying 8 of them) also any driving off of designated roads i.e. numbered roads will be more strictly enforced and tickets given. that means most of the hill climbs and washes are off limits. The only access to the coves will be from Porbaceto and the 4 peaks entrance. Its sounding like they are wanting to close the rolls totally in the near future, so enjoy while you can. And next time hopefully i get the memo so I can have some fun too.
